It is disheartening to see plastic and paper flags being dumped on roads and dustbins post celebrations.
These flags are made from wood free paper and have seeds embedded in them. So whenever somebody wants to dispose of the flag, rather than throwing it away, they could sow it in the soil (Burying the flag is in terms with the Flag Code of India, 2002) and get a beautiful plant .
